+ Australia

• We advised a major Australian veterinary products company on a distribution agreement dispute with the US patent owner. This included obtaining advice from senior counsel on potential patent infringements, advising on the procedure for a defective product recall + the instruction of a US based law firm and an Australian senior counsel.
• Advised a pharmaceutical manufacturer on its manufacturing agreement, IP licence arrangements, sale of IP assets, and customer due diligence.
• Advised a NSW state superannuation services company on its custodian agreements (including obtaining English Law sign-off), administered its finance agreement, managed its corporate rebranding exercise including the reservation of multiple corporate names and ‘business as usual’ corporate tasks + Instructed UK law firm.

+ The Pacific and South East Asia

• We advised a global vehicle manufacturer on the establishment of its distributor network in two of the largest Pacific jurisdictions including the drafting of personal property securities regime compliant documents + Worked with our affiliate.
• Advised a statutory authority in the Pacific in regards to its design and build construction contracts with a Malaysian property development company, along with providing corporate advice on establishing SPVs for the project within the confines of state owned enterprises legislation.
• Advised an ASX listed FMCG commodities company on its distribution agreements with various distributors in the Pacific, including advising on anti-bribery obligations + Worked with our affiliates.
• Acted for global power plant manufacturer on their tender submission and contractual negotiations with a national electricity utility for the provision of power generation units.
